Giant Beats Studios was founded in 2002 by Solomon J. Magaji, a passionate music producer and sound engineer. Solomon honed his craft at the renowned Manchester MIDI School (School of Electronic Music), where he developed advanced skills in music production and engineering. His journey in music production began in the year 2000 in his bedroom studio, equipped with a modest setup that included a Yamaha QY60 sequencer and a Tascam 4-track recorder.
Upon returning from the UK, Solomon established Giant Beats Studios in Abuja, FCT, with the vision of creating a professional space where creativity could flourish. Over the years, Giant Beats Studios has delivered top-quality production and recording services to a wide range of artists, including Blackface, Iyanya, Charlie Boy, Desperate Chicks, Classiq, Mode 9, Jesse Jagz, M.I and many more.
Beyond production, Solomon has shared his knowledge through mentorship and training programs, fostering the next generation of music professionals. His unwavering passion and dedication have positioned Giant Beats Studios as Abuja’s leading recording studio, a space that has stood the test of time and continues to be driven by a love for the music industry.

Giant Beats Studios is a dynamic hub for aspiring recording artists, producers, and sound engineers. Since its inception, the studio has served as a springboard for young creatives in the music industry, providing a nurturing environment where raw talent is discovered and refined. A significant portion of the creatives we work with—about 80%—are aged between 16 and 30, many of whom are students with a deep passion for music but lack the moral and financial support necessary to realize their potential.
At Giant Beats, we harness the transformative power of the internet to amplify the voices of our community. Our proprietary online platform enables creatives to showcase their work to a broader audience, network with like-minded individuals, and gain invaluable exposure. One of our standout online initiatives, 9jabeats.com, earned recognition in 2009 when it was shortlisted for the prestigious International Young Music Entrepreneur of the Year (I.Y.M.E.Y) Award, hosted by the British Council.
We counsel and guide aspiring artists to look beyond conventional methods of content monetization, encouraging them to embrace the internet as the future of the entertainment industry.
